konbanwa minna ,,,This afternoon I will review a band known as Their name is cocklobin, refers to the Japanese robin (Erithacus akahige). cocklobin formed in November 2008 with vocalist Nigu, guitarist Iori and guitarist Shinichi. Their first appearance was as an opening act for 9GOATS BLACK OUT and Sugar's "BLACK Sugar POT" live at Takadanobaba Area on January 9, 2009. cocklobin's first mini-album, DARK DESIGN CATALOG, was released on 06/29/2009 and was only available by ordering through their website. Hisaki and Kiri, support bassist and drummer respectively, joined the band as official members in August of 2009. DARK DESIGN CATALOG was rereleased through stores on 09/09/2009. Through the end of October and the beginning of November, cocklobin held a coupling tour with Deathgaze, aptly called Deathlobin. The tour final was on the day their first single, and first release with all five official members, black, was released through stores, on 11/04/2009. Their upcoming EP, 「死と再生 (Shi to Saisei) will soon be released at 24/03/2010.
