Antikaruna is a genre of alternative metal band with progressive elements and pop-rock that was originally formed by the guitarist, Satoshi Ogawa, under the name Ladybug Thrusts [WHO were the resource persons supposedly a bombastic "riot grrrl" bands (According to last.fm tags - I have not Heard Them, so I can not vouch for whether it's accurate or not)] in 2002 ago in Toronto, Canada - which changed its name to Antikaruna that now since the year 2009, after returning to Japan Satoshi. The band is led by the Vivacious frontwoman, Haruka Matsumoto, who has an enormous and powerful vocals, and backed up by tooth-grinding riffs from Satoshi, gloomy basslines of the [support] bassist, Nomaguchi Hiroshi, and the Pitter-Patter of drums from Maeta Yuya, Their Drummer. Some songs seem Gritty, but some others seem to balance and polished. Throughout the tempo is Fairly consistent, and the atmosphere is in a limbo Between brooding and Hopeful. You know what? If you like Western music alt. metal, you probably would like Antikaruna. I can not pinpoint any off the top of my head, but that's Basically what They sound like. The last, They Are Fairly RARE, though not underrated [lol, that's essentially a whole different thing], so do not Expect too much.
