Remioromen (レミオロメン?) Is a band from Japan that consists of three personnel and was established in December 2000. Remioromen was formed in 2000. Third personnel from Yamanashi Prefecture. Remioromen name actually has no special meaning but from the combination of their favorite word game is determined by janken (scissors, rock, paper). Each personnel may enter their favorite word janken win every time. Fujimaki pleased with the band Radiohead were in Japanese is called "rediohedo", so he put the word "re"; Jinguji include "mi" and "o". Mi is the name of his girlfriend and O is the letter before his name; Maeda pleased with the tram, so enter the word Romen (from Japanese, romendensha meaning "tram"). After their single entitled "Sangatsu Kokonoka" was released, they returned to Yamanashi to perform concerts in their old school.
In 2005, Remioromen released their single entitled "Konayuki". In that year, Konayuki used as an insert song for TV series Rittoru Ichi no Namida (1 Liter of Tears). The song "Sangatsu Kokonoka" was used as a choral song in the movie. Remioromen known in Indonesia thanks to the song "Konayuki" and "Sangatsu Kokonoka".
In 2006, Remioromen won the Best Pop Video Award via video clips Konayuki.
Even now in 2007, Remioromen has released their second single, "Akanezora" and "Hotaru / Run". Single "Hotaru / Run" is a single with two songs called singles mainstay ryo A-men. Singles were released in limited edition and regular edition, each of which differs in the order of songs and cover design. The song "Hotaru" used as theme song for the film, starring Nanako Matsushima Bizan. In this year also Remioromen has released their latest single titled "Wonderful & Beautiful", which consists of three tracks, namely "Wonderful & Beautiful", "Wonderland", and "Rizumu (Rhytm)". Wonderland itself be used as the theme song for the movie Smile ~ Seiya no Kiseki ~, then Rhytm and Akanezora used as the theme song JRA 2007, a horse racing company. Remioromen has also introduced his new song is "Koi no Yokan". In July 2008, tepetnya 30th, Remioromen will release their latest single titled "Motto Tooku e / Orchestra" which is the thirteenth single Remioromen.
