I really like this band because the band has many songs to fill in the anime Gundam so this is the review T.M.Revolution is the solo project of Takanori Nishikawa. His music repertoire consists of synthetic and generally fast-paced songs. With pop sounds and electric guitars, T.M. Revolution's music has taken a more electronic direction, with rhythms borrowed from dance and trance music. Though, the listener always finds the omnipresent rock influence.
T.M.Revolution's popularity has to do with his charisma and the dynamism of his songs, the notorious composer and their particular compositions.
biography
When Takanori Nishikawa reached college, he began his singing career in the visual rock band Luis~Mary (1989-1993; disbanded) under the name of "HAINE," but it wasn't until T.M.Revolution's debut in 1996 that he would begin to gain fame.
Having met Daisuke Asakura a year before his solo debut, the two collaborated together and released a single called BLACK OR WHITE? under the name of Daisuke Asakura expd. Takanori Nishikawa.
After the collaboration, it wasn't a surprise when Daisuke Asakura became T.M.Revolution's producer and composer. After releasing his first album, Makes Revolution in August 1996, his popularity boomed when his song HEART OF SWORD -Yoakemae-, was chosen to be the theme song for the popular anime Rurouni Kenshin.
July 1997 saw another huge break for him when his hit single WHITE BREATH sold over one million copies. Keeping with this pace, his third album, triple joker, sold a record two million copies and was later released in several overseas countries.
Shortly after the release of his fourth album in 1999, more than 100,000 people came to see his massively successful commemorative two-day concert.
After switching labels and signing to Sony Music, T.M.R. contributed the song INVOKE as his first tie-in to the anime "Gundam Seed." T.M.R. has also done music for the video game "Sengoku Basura," the song crosswise, and the Japanese theme song for "Spiderman 2," Web of Night.
For the release of his Albiero single, T.M.R. collaborated with Swarovski, creating dazzling new costumes that would be vividly displayed with his seventh album, SEVENTH HEAVEN.
Having performed at large anime conventions within the United States, such as OTAKON 2003 and Pacific Media Expo 2004, the opportunity was seized for a USA distribution and several of T.M.R.'s titles were released by the American label Tofu Records.
In 2006, Takanori created a band project called abingdon boys school. The music is a mixture of hard rock guitars, drums and electronic/techno beats. Their first single, Innocent Sorrow, was released December 6, 2006, followed by their debut album entitled abingdon boys school in 2007.
In addition to music, Takanori has also taken to acting. In April 2007, he starred in the musical How To Succeed.
Finally after two years spending his time promoting abingdon boys school and having a try in acting, T.M.Revolution made his comeback with his first single in 2008 entitled Resonance which is used as the opening theme song for the anime "Soul Eater."
T.M.Revolution recently made an appearance as the guest of honor at Comic Con 2008 in New York.
