Tokyo incidents (Tokyo Jihen)
Shiina Ringo singer to end his solo career and re-emerging in the music world
by lifting the newest group, Tokyo Jihen.
The singer who early solo career has a history of raising the band name bands like Momoiro Spanner retinue, Hatsuiku Status, Zetsurin Hectopascal and Gyakutai Glycogen. After producing nine singles and three albums, 2002
Shiina decided to take a sabbatical due to raising children. Then back again in 2003 and took time to release two singles and albums to four.
Momentum peak occurs at Suguroku Ecstasy concert tour, the band introduced a new Ringo Shiina, Tokyo Jihen. Since then Shiina already feeling his career as a solo singer will soon be over. Finally realized that he felt in mid-2004. Shiina announced his retirement from solo artist and joined as permanent members of Tokyo Jihen.
No half-hearted when the writer saw a video clip titled Tokyo Jihen Sounan taken from a second single, there is one very noticeable difference from the self-Shiina (although a small but very influential). Namely, the disappearance of a mole on his left cheek that became his trademark Shiina!. Shiina was indeed deliberately raised dung flies as one of the signs he finished his solo career.
In August 2004, Tokyo Jihen do upfront first public concert appearance in the name of Tokyo Jihen at the Fuji Rock festival. In the next month, Tokyo Jihen Gunjoo Biyori released his first single. Kyooiku debut album scheduled for release on November 25, 2004.
