S.K.I.N. has already gained tremendous attention throughout the world due of its roster. This "Super Band" is Yoshiki's (ex-X Japan) newest project, and the members in this star studded line-up have already gained fame and experience in the music business.
The band lineup consists of Gackt (ex-Malice Mizer) as vocalist, SUGIZO (ex-LUNA SEA) and Miyavi (ex-Du? le quartz) as guitarists and Yoshiki himself as drummer and keyboard. S.K.I.N. is also often referred as ?The Superband? by the fans, due to the fame of its current line-up.

In 2006, Yoshiki stunned fans when he was announced during his question and answer panel at the anime convention Otakon, in Maryland USA, that he was thinking of starting a new band with Gackt. At that time, no other information was revealed, but that didn?t stop fans from getting excited about the possible upcoming project. As if Yoshiki and Gackt?s teaming up wasn?t already too good to be true, Yoshiki created another stir on December 28th by announcing that the third member of this band would be none other than SUGIZO, the lead guitarist from the legendary LUNA SEA.
Since then, there were many rumors as to who would be the fourth member of the band, Miyavi being one of them. In December 2006, Miyavi stated that he was thinking about joining a band and on May 25th, 2007 during his performance at JRock Revolution, he announced that he would be joining the line-up for S.K.I.N..
Yoshiki stated the band will make their debut performance at Anime Expo in California, USA on June 29, 2007. Currently S.K.I.N. still has an opening for a bass player, but so far there is no solid proof as to whether this position will be filled.
Not much is currently known about the band's future activities other than the performance at Anime Expo, but fans can expect almost anything with this exciting band!
