Tegomass (テゴマス, Tegomasu?) Is a unit of boy band consisting of Yuya Tegoshi and Takahisa Masuda from the boyband NEWS. The name is taken from the combined units of the first syllable of the name of the second family member, Tegoshi and Masuda.
Johnny's Entertainment entertainment company formed Tegomass units to be marketed internationally. Singel inaugural edition of the Swedish Miso Soup was released in Sweden on 15 November 2006. Single promotional activity lasted 14 to 17 November 2006. The same single released in Japanese in Japan next month.
Music career
* Creator of the songs from Sweden to send some songs like "Akaku Moyuru Taiyou" (紅く 燃 ゆる 太陽) and "Sayaendo / Hadashi no Cinderella Boy" (サヤエンドウ / 裸足 の シンデレラ ボーイ) for the group NEWS. After circulated to Sweden, the second song was a fan favorite there. Swedish record company called Hawk Records offers the opportunity for Johnny's Entertainment to make debut in Sweden that was formed Tegomass.
* Prior to the unit named Tegomass formed, Yuya Tegoshi and Takahisa Masuda have often brought the original song is a duet in concert performances NEWS. The songs are frequently performed by them for example the song "Zutto" contained on the album titled touch and the song "Arigatou Ima" contained in DVD NEWS Nippon 0304.
* On 15 November 2006, released a single titled debut Tegomass Miso Soup in Sweden. About 500 fans attended the inaugural sale of their singles. For Johnny's Entertainment is the first experience doing its debut singles abroad before the single was released in Japan.
